The Achieve Investment

Villa Maria College is one of the most affordable, private educational institutions in Western New York.

Ninety-nine percent of Villa students receive some form of financial aid, and 96% receive Villa-funded grants and scholarships. The financial aid process can be tedious, but we are committed to working with you to make both Villa and Achieve affordable. We’ll consider all of the factors that impact your finances — not just your annual income or student aid index. Our goal is to ensure that your dream of attending college is not hindered by an inability to pay. Plus, you may qualify for a wide range of merit- and need-based scholarships, including awards for academic achievement, transfer students, athletics, community service, and more. Additional funding may be available through federal and New York State grants, including the Pell Grant and Tuition Assistance Program (TAP), as well as programs such as Say Yes Buffalo. Villa’s Financial Aid team works individually with students and families to identify available resources and build a financial aid package that helps make a Villa education within reach.

Students seeking federal financial assistance are required to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at www.studentaid.gov.

ACCES‑VR

ACCES‑VR is the vocational rehabilitation service provided by the New York State Education Department. It exists to assist individuals with disabilities to achieve and maintain employment — often by helping with education, training, job planning, and workplace supports.

Students who are eligible for ACCES-VR may be able to use that funding to help cover the cost of Achieve’s semesterly fee. Contact your ACCES-VR counselor to learn more.
