The Application Process

Begin your application and take the next step toward a supported college experience.

Applying to the Achieve Program is a two-step process designed to ensure you receive the personalized support you need to succeed. Students must first apply for admission to Villa Maria College and then submit a separate application for the Achieve Program.  

Once both applications are received, our team will review your information and connect with you to discuss your goals, learning profile, and how Achieve can best support your success. This process helps us thoughtfully build the right support plan for each student — so you can enter college feeling confident, prepared, and fully supported. 

Application Tips

Having these items handy will allow you to complete the College and Achieve Program applications quickly: 

  • High school transcript or GED 
  • Current IEP, 504 Plan, or documentation (if available) 
  • A brief personal statement about your goals (optional) 

The College application will ask, “Are you interested in the Achieve Program?” Don’t forget to select yes! This will let the Achieve staff know what you’ve applied to both the College and the program.  

After both applications are submitted, the Admissions and Achieve teams will review your materials and contact you. This may include a meeting with Achieve staff to learn more about your learning style, goals, and the type of support that will best help you succeed.
